How to create notes and highlights on the Android app

Add notes to your highlighted text

The Highlights & Notes feature on the Speechify Android app allows you to jot down quick thoughts, summaries, or reminders directly on highlighted text while reading or listening. It’s a great way to stay engaged and organized during your reading sessions.

🪄 How to Add Notes on the Android App

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Speechify app on your phone or tablet and log in

    to your account.

  2. Select and open the document or article you want to read.

  3. Press and hold the sentence or passage you want to highlight.

  4. From the pop-up toolbar, tap “Highlight.”

  5. Once highlighted, you can change the highlight color and select “Add a Note" here

  6. Type your note in the text field and tap Done.

  7. Your note will now be linked to the highlighted section — you can revisit by going to 'Notes & Highlights' in the 3-dot menu, and edit it anytime in the same way - just click 3 dots near note - you will see onption edit/delete/go to the text
