How to pin Speechify to the system tray?

Pinning Speechify to the system tray lets you quickly access the app and its controls anytime — even when the main window is closed.

Pin Speechify icon to the system tray

  1. Click the up arrow (^) in the taskbar to open the system tray.

  2. Find the Speechify icon.

  3. Drag the icon into the visible tray area.

Speechify will now appear as an icon in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar.

Using the system tray icon

  • Left-click the icon to open the Speechify system tray menu with quick actions.

  • Right-click the icon for open the Speechify app window.

If you do not see the Speechify icon in the system tray, please do the following:

Enable the system tray icon

  1. Open the Speechify app.

  2. Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Under General, toggle on System tray.

Speechify will now appear as an icon in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar.
