What is the Miniplayer?

The Miniplayer is a small floating bar that appears on your screen whenever text-to-speech is active. It stays on top of all your other windows so you can control playback without switching apps.

What you can do from the Miniplayer

  • Play or pause the current listening session.

  • See elapsed time.

  • Use the three-dot menu to change your voice or speed and access additional playback controls.

  • Use subtitles to follow along with highlighted text

  • Click the down arrow on subtitles to disable them (this will keep subtitles off until re-enabled in settings)

  • Disable the Miniplayer with the X button (this hides the Miniplayer but playback continues, and it will remain off until re-enabled in settings)
