How to Change Voice and Speed on the Mac App

  1. From the app window:
    ​
    Open the Speechify app.
    Click Text to Speech in the left sidebar.
    Click the Voice or Speed dropdown and select your preference.
    ​


2. From the menu bar menu:

Click the Speechify icon in menu bar

Select Voice or Speed to open full list
​


All available voices on the Mac app will pop up below
​
​3. From the Miniplayer (While Listening)


Click the three-dot icon on the Miniplayer.


Select Voice or Speed in the Miniplayer menu to open the full list.

Select your preference.


​Additionally, you can quickly adjust the listening speed using shortcuts:


Press ⌥ D to increase the speed by 0.05x
Press ⌥ S to decrease the speed by 0.05x
