How to Change Miniplayer and Subtitles Settings on Mac

The Miniplayer and Subtitles features in Speechify help you follow along while listening to text on your Mac. You can adjust these settings to match your reading preference.

Open Miniplayer Settings

  1. Start playing any text in the Speechify Mac app

  2. The Miniplayer will appear on your screen

  3. Click the settings or display controls within the Miniplayer

From there, you can adjust how the Miniplayer appears and behaves.


Miniplayer Options

Depending on your version of the app, you may be able to:

  • Move the Miniplayer on your screen

  • Keep it visible while using other apps

  • Hide or minimize it during playback


Subtitles Settings

Subtitles display the text being read while audio is playing.

You can:

  • Turn subtitles on or off

  • Adjust how text is displayed while listening

  • Follow along with spoken content in real time


Changes Are Saved Automatically

Any changes you make are applied immediately, no need to manually save.
