How to Start Dictation
Step 1 — Open Speechify
Open the Speechify Website on Chrome browser
Step 2 — Find the Dictate Feature
Look for:
A microphone icon, or
A button called Dictate
Click it to begin.
NOTE: The first time you use Dictate, your browser or device may ask for microphone permission. Click Allow.
Step 3 — Start Speaking
Speak clearly and naturally.
Speechify will convert your speech into text automatically.
Step 4 — Stop Dictation
When finished:
Click the microphone icon again, or
Press the stop button if available.
Tips:
Speak slowly and clearly for better accuracy.
Use a quiet environment if possible.
Check that your microphone is connected and working.
Make sure your browser microphone permissions are enabled.
