How to Delete Your Speechify Account on iOS

If you no longer wish to use Speechify, you can request deletion of your Speechify account. Deleting the Speechify app from your device does not delete your account.

Before you delete your account

  • Make sure you have canceled any active Speechify subscription.

  • Account deletion is permanent and may remove your account data and access to your Speechify content.

Steps to delete your account

  1. Open the Speechify app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Under Home, tap the icon as shown in the screenshot below

  3. Tap on your Profile.

  4. Scroll down below and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion. (see below)

  5. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

Can’t find the Delete Account option?
If the option isn’t available in your app, contact Speechify Support and request account deletion. Include the email address associated with your Speechify account so the support team can locate your account.

​Note: Uninstalling Speechify from your iPhone or iPad does not automatically cancel your subscription or delete your Speechify account.

​How to cancel your Apple subscription
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, you need to cancel the subscription separately:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap your Apple Account at the top.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Select Speechify.

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.

Important: Canceling your subscription stops future billing but does not automatically delete your Speechify account.
