Change Your Listening Language
Open any file or book in Speechify
On the listening screen, tap the voice icon in the bottom-left corner
This will open the Voice Library
Tap the Search bar and enter your preferred language (example: French)
Browse the available voices and accents for that language
Tap a voice to preview it
Select Choose Voice / Select Voice to apply it
Inside the Voice Library, you can:
Search for specific languages
Browse available accents and regions
Preview voices before selecting them
Save favorite voices for quick access
Important Note:
Speechify can read text in different languages and accents. For example, selecting a French voice for English text will still read the content in English, but with a French accent. For the best experience, we recommend matching the voice language to the language of the text.
