Here's how to sign up and create an account:
Click on the 'Speechify' icon in the plug-in bar.
Click on any icon in the pill player to open up the sign-in screen.
Click the Create Account button.
You can then choose the way to sign in between Google, Apple, Facebook, or an email address and password. If you select the first 3 options, it will proceed to another screen to select your account.

If you initially signed up using the email and password method, just type in your credentials and click Continue.
It will then take you to the Web app's dashboard and will ask if you wish to go for our Free trial. Otherwise, you can click on x in the top right corner of the box to close it out and continue on a free user plan.
