The Speechify app can scan any book or printed text and read it out loud to you.

  1. In the app, tap the + button at the bottom of the screen

  2. Select Scan Text

  3. Allow the app to access your phone camera

  4. Point the camera at the page and tap the White button at the bottom of the screen to save the image. You can also choose 1 or 2 pages (landscape). Tip: use good lighting and take your photo close to the text.

  5. Repeat the previous step if you have more pages to scan. All the pages you scan here will be saved as a single file in your library.

  6. Tap the Photo icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to view all the images you have scanned. You have the option to Add more pages to scan, and skew, crop, or add columns to the pages.

  7. Tap Listen to save and sync the pages to your library. The app will then open a new listening screen and you can listen to it right away.
