To scan a document in the Speechify app and crop the edges:
Open the app and tap Scan (camera icon) or the blue + icon in the lower-right corner.
Position your camera over the document, then tap the scan button to capture the page. Tap the scan preview in the lower-right corner.
Tap the 3-dot menu in the upper-right corner, then select Adjust.
Drag the corners to accurately frame the text in your document, then tap the check mark once you’re satisfied with the crop.
Tap the check mark again in the upper-right corner to either:
Scan More pages, or
Save to Library.
Any additional pages scanned in this session will automatically be combined into a single file in your library.
Tip for the best scan quality:
For a sharper, cleaner scan, use bright ambient lighting and keep your phone as parallel to the page as possible. Avoid direct glare or shadows on the document, and place the paper on a dark, contrasting surface to help your camera detect the page edges more accurately.
