Mac App Crash
Follow the instructions below to fix a Mac app crash issue:
Delete the app from your MacBook.
Press command + space
Type 'Terminal' in the search spotlight
Type the command defaults delete com.cliffweitzman.speechifydesktop3 in the terminal box as shown in the video here

Disable VPN
If you're unable to access your premium subscription, it's likely due to a VPN. Please disable your VPN.
Open your VPN app
Disable it - it will show Not Connected
