How can I delete and restore files?

You can delete a file from your Mac app, but you won't be able to restore it directly within the app.

Steps to delete a file:

  1. Click Speechify Mac App from the Launchpad.

    Or, if the Mac App is already open, click it on top of the screen.

  2. Locate the document you want to delete, then right-click on it and select Delete from the options.

The Mac app currently does not support restoring deleted files. However, you can restore them using the web app at https://app.speechify.com/ or through the iOS app.

To restore deleted files:

  • On the web app: Follow the steps outlined here.

  • On the iOS app: Follow the instructions provided here.
